Hi again Lawrence,
Do you have any direction on working with fused and painted glass? I am also a potter but I haven’t purchased a kiln yet and wonder about the types of kilns that can do both?
I am unfamiliar with the glass painting technique, but now that answers the questions I had about the “vines” and such on the dragonflies piece (a favorite).

Thanks Judy. I appreciate your comments and wish you much success. The pallet of glass that the leaded-glass artist has to work from these days is the largest it has ever been in history. That said, the limitations of manufactured glass can still be stifling to an artist in search of wider choices. Fused and painted glass can offer limitless dimensions to explore for the more adventurous.

I am fairly new to stained glass… just 3 years now.
I also like to work with my own concepts and designs.
You have something different… that I haven’t seen before.
The concept of incorporating fused glass is brilliant.
I would love to see more of your technique.
Your glass choices are so right for your designs.
I’ve found that the design and choice of glass go hand in hand to have a successful piece.
I wish you had a website I could discover.
I am about to relocate to the Appalachians, in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. Maybe our paths will cross some day.
I look forward t seeing more of your work.
