Hello Sally - Chinking is a rather easy thing to do - a little time-consuming though. If you click on the category chinking in the right hand column you will find a number of articles and some video that shows you the preparation and process of chinking. it is best to get a couple of willing participants to help out. Remember the rule -- start at the back of the house and by the time you get to the front of the house where you chinking will be under great scrutiny you will be chinking like a pro.

Let me know if the articles and video help to show you the chinking methods well enough for you to tackle it.

Hi,
My house needs to be re-chinked in a lot of places. The people I bought the home from filled the cracks with pink insulation ( and chinked over it) and now the chinking has pulled away from it in many places. I am sure I can do it (at least the inside)....have the recipe, now all you have to do is teach me how I do it. Will you help me?
