Selling the Pocono Lake Cottages

Lake Wallenpaupack Cottage 1 The lake cottages here in the Poconos are on the market. I don’t think that they will last long as people have been clamoring for property on the lake. Cottages here at the lake and river are hard to come by especially with waterfront and a dock. These are perfect for a weekend getaway or as weekly or monthly rentals.

There are two properties. Both have beautiful river front and plenty of room for you to dock your boat.

The first property has a charming little yellow cottage on about a half acre.

The second property actually has two little cottages on it and is also about a half acre.

Both properties are situated on the Wallenpaupack river near the mouth for Lake Wallenpaupack in Northeastern PA.
Its the largest lake in Pennsylvania over 5,700 acres and 52 miles of shoreline.Lake Wallenpaupack Cottage View

Both properties have their own private boat slip/dock – a very coveted thing to have on the lake.

other activities year round.

Not far from Hawley is Honesdale, PA – the birthplace of the American Railroad. Honesdale is the county seat for Wayne County, PA.

There are also numerous summer camps in the area as well as riding stables ski lodges, lots of marinas, historic train rides, excellent fly fishing and so many other things to do.

The largest attraction of course is Lake Wallenpaupack itself.

The brown cottage is still available.

If you would like more information on the cottages please feel free to contact the realtor Tim Meagher of ReMax in Honesdale PA at 570 – 253-9566 and he will be able to answer your questions.

Thanks!

Hello Sherri Thanks for your question on Bearfort Lodge.

I have no idea about any properties around the lake that are $75,000 or less. The little yellow cottage just sold and the other, now that it is spring, is garnering some interest.

Finding a property on the lake for less than 75k would be very tough.
