Stunning! I dream of places like yours when I sleep :o ) Alas I don’t have the money or means to build such a log home, so seeing pictures of your beauty quenches my soul instead! Keep up the great work.

Thank you Coral Prince – There are ways to build a log home for a nominal cost — In 2010 I will be addressing ways to to do just that. — Love your site by the way!

Thank you Rhonda – Yes there is quite a bit of natural light – The original builder took full advantage of each exposure. Thank you.

This is a great site. Keep up the good work. It is a great resource for the log home community.

Mike – Thank you — I appreciate that. Very cool site you have – Customizing 4×4s for serious off road fun. As much as I love my Jeep Grand Cherokee – I wish Jeep would have stuck with their more rugged past instead of gentrifying them to a point of being only a hint of their former intent. No doubt your site provides the resources with your expertise to reclaim the original spirit. Thanks!

I really enjoyed your site! What a lovely home. I am so glad you have restored it- what a history. I live in a smaller log home and enjoyed gathering decorating ideas from your site.

Your home is beautiful. I look forward to seeing more of it in the future. One question, if you have the time. What kind of foundation does it have?

Thank You,

Michael

What a treasure your lodge is! Everybody should have one. My “lodge” is the 1700’s farm I grew up on. I thought everyone had thumb latches on their doors. The place is in all our souls.
